The Disaster Animal Response Team of Nova Scotia  

A Joint Emergency Sheltering Exercise with the Canadian Red Cross was held today. It was a great success and the start of a great working relationship has further been cemented by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between DARTNS and the Canadian Red Cross, that  sees us shelter animals of people affected by emergencies, and find themselves forced to evacuate their home to take up temporary residence at a Red Cross Shelter.
