The Disaster Animal Response Team of Nova Scotia  

All Responding Members are required to supply a Criminal Background Check when applying for a membership. 

When applying for a Criminal Background Check, you may require a letter from DARTNS indicating that we are a Registered Charity. 

If this is the case, please contact information@dartns.org and we will send you a letter to take to your local police or RCMP.

To the best of our knowledge there is no charge for a Criminal Background Check outside of the Halifax Regional Municipality. If this is not factual, please let us know so we can update our information.
