The Disaster Animal Response Team of Nova Scotia

28  years as a volunteer member of the Pictou Co SPCA Board of Directors.

 In January 2012 I began working with the new local chapter of Cat Rescue Maritimes  CARMA .   I will focus on fundraising and getting them awareness in the county.

In Sept 2012 in response to a local story of a worman with  17 feral cats in her yard that she feeds I began the Spay a Stray campaign and in 6 weeks trapped-neutered and released 13 cats and raised enough money to pay that bill of 1300.00 and have enough money left to pay for the remaining 4 cats!!!!!!!!!!
