We are a volunteer, not for profit society, working under the direction of the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services and Canadian Red Cross, to set up and run emergency shelters and reception centres for animals affected by man made and natural disasters.
We partner and work with other like minded organizations to insure animal needs are met during emergencies.
We also have the ability to work in animal seizure shelters under the direction of
the local responding animal shelter's Incident Commander .
